In 2021, Ivy Tech’s statewide marketing team distributed economic impact data from a study conducted by Economic Modeling Specialists International (EMSI) showing the college’s $3.9 billion cumulative annual impact on Indiana. I translated that data into a localized press release for the Indianapolis market, including a ghostwritten quote from the campus chancellor, and distributed it to local media.
